The 327th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron is an inactive United States Air Force unit. Its last assignment was with the 64th Air Division stationed at Thule AB, Greenland. It was inactivated on March 25, 1960

Contents

History

Air defense and operational training unit until March 1, 1943, and afterward replacement training unit until March 31, 1944. On 1 May 1956, they became the first squadron to employ the Convair F-102A 'Delta Dagger' in operational service, becoming the first supersonic unit in Air Defense Command.
